Selling Houses Australia S14 Episode 9: Creating Country Comfort in Rosebrook

Built in 1975, a dream home, designed by then owners, with subtle Spanish influence and an impressive country backdrop in the Hunter River Region of New South Wales.  This much loved 3 bedroom house situated on 40 acres of beautiful rolling hills, was inherited by the daughter of the original owners, however due to the upkeep of the land it had become a burden on the family and it was time to sell up and move on. Although the sentimental value of the home was priceless, it’s rundown, outdated state was not appealing to buyers in the area.

With the help of Wendy, Dennis and Andrew the family were able to broaden the appeal of the property by reworking the layout to enhance the functionality of the floor plan and creating a warm, comforting country feel with simple contemporary updates and a colour scheme that complemented the beauty of its Hunter River location.

It didn’t take long for buyers to come knocking after this country home makeover. See the amazing before and after transformation below.
