Need a rough idea?
You can save time and money by calculating the volume of paint required before you purchase it. By doing this you will reduce the risk of running out of paint.
Once you know the total area, in square metres per coat, that you wish to paint you then need the coverage rate of the paint per litre per coat.
4 litres of wall finish
is enough for two coats on a small room (3 m x 3m x 2.4m); and 2 litres of Ceiling paint will do 2 coats on the ceiling
6 litres of wall finish
is enough for two coats on a medium room (4 m x 5m x 2.4m); and 4 litres of Ceiling paint will do 2 coats on the ceiling
8 litres of wall finish
is enough for two coats on a large room (6 m x 7m x 2.4m); and 6 litres of Ceiling paint will do 2 coats on the ceiling
