Northbridge Project

An original Californian Bungalow in Northbridge was skilfully transformed by interior design and decoration practice, Warner & Woods.  Once challenged for light, the home now feels modern, effortless, bright and relaxed.

The designers’ inspired palette of colour and materials reflects the hues of the Australian landscape in a very contemporary, fresh format.  Warm neutrals, eucalypt greens, ocean blues and terracotta reds underpin the confidence and visual mastery of the interior. 

Large windows are adorned with sheer curtains, while the open plan living space combines lounge, kitchen and dining areas in a sublime architectural design template.

Wattyl products were used throughout the interiors and exterior, both undercoats and finishes, including 2-pac joinery finishes for kitchen, laundry, powder room, bedrooms, bathrooms and office.  Ceiling paints were tinted to complement the room’s colour palette, rather than contrast with it.

Colours such as Nougat, used on the cabinetry in the office, truly encapsulate the earthy ochre of the Australian landscape.
