At Wattyl, our mission is to protect. This extends from our customers’ assets and businesses to the planet. Paint is everywhere, from homes to office walls, car parks and urban architecture, it infiltrates the air we breathe and can harm the environment and our health. That’s why we develop products that meet and exceed Australian and global eco certifications and standards. We also say no to landfill and are a proud supporter and founding member of Paintback, a world-first national disposal and recycling scheme.
Our GECA licences (PCV.2.2ii-2012 standard) cover a range of preparation and topcoat products, namely interior walls, ceilings and trims. These are recognised by ISCA and contribute to IS ratings. They also contribute to Green Star, WELL, NABERS and LEED.
We’re certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17025:2005 quality standards. We also have APAS certified manufacturing units and product certifications. Plus, our laboratories are National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited to test surface coatings.
Paintback waste management
We’re a proud supporter and founding member of Paintback, a world-first, industry-led national paint collection, disposal and recycling scheme, which aims to reduce the large volumes of waste paint and packaging going into landfill. The scheme has over 160 drop off locations across Australia.
Green building council of Australia member
We’re a member of Green Building Council Australia (GBCA), an authority on sustainable buildings and communities. We have a range of Wattyl products that contribute to Green Star credit points. GBCA Green Star rating tools help reduce the environmental impact of buildings.
