General

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

Who Can Enter

  1. Entry is only open to Australian aged 13 or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. (“Eligible Entrant”).
  2. The Promoter is HEMPEL (WATTYL) AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ABN 40 000 035 914) (the “Promoter”). The Promoter’s address is Level 3, 2 Burbank Place, Norwest NSW 2153.

How to enter

  1. Subject to Clause 3, Competition is only open to anyone who is at the Bulldogs game mentioned above and sees the promotion advertised within the vicinity.
  2. To enter Eligible Entrants must:
    1. Scan the QR code; and
    2. Complete all their details on the online entry page; and
    3. Successfully submit the online entry form.
  3. Entrants will have the opportunity to choose to become a member of Wattyl’s free retail loyalty program (currently called PaintPlus). Membership is free and can be opted out of any time. Choosing to become a member of PaintPlus (or not) will not impact on the entry into this competition. By choosing to become a member of PaintPlus you also acknowledge acceptance of the Wattyl PaintPlus Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and the Digital Terms of Use. These documents are available at paintplus.wattyl.com.au.
  4. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Inaudible, incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries may be deemed invalid. Only those entries received by the Promoter will be included in the competition draw.
  5. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant, the Promoter will make a determination, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Number of entries permitted

  1. Subject to these terms and conditions, each email address is only eligible to enter once, regardless of how many people use that email address.

Open, Close, Draw and Publish dates

  1. Promotion open and closing dates are listed in the table above (“Promotional Period”).
  2. All website entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database NOT the time of transmission by the entrant.
  3. There will one prize awarded. The Draw will be held on Monday 19/05/25 @ 11.00am at the Promoter’s Office. The Winner will be notified by phone and their name published at https://wattyl.com.au/promotions-terms-conditions/ within 7 days of the draw for a minimum of 7 days. The Promoter may choose to display any winners on Wattyl’s Facebook and Instagram pages/stories.
  4. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, select a replacement winner from the valid entries in the event that an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.

Prize

  1. The first winner drawn will receive a $150 Bulldogs Team Store Merchandise Voucher. RRP $150.00 AUD (incl GST).
  2. Prize will be sent by via email to the email address entered at time of entry. Prizes will be sent within 28 days of the draw.
  3. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  4. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. Cash will not necessarily be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize. The Winner is responsible for any fees associated with owning and maintaining the prize. Prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for any other prize, and cannot be exchanged for cash.   5. The warranty on the goods and services obtained as a result of this promotion remains the sole responsibility of the manufacturer/supplier of the prize. The Promoter will not be responsible for any malfunction, fault, technical or design error or any other breakdown concerning the Prize whatsoever. The Winner undertakes to liaise directly with the providers of the Prize in respect of any manufacturer’s warranties and/or guarantees and hereby release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever in respect thereto. For clarity, the Winner waives all of its rights to make any claim against the Promoter in relation to any aspect of the Prize and Warranty whatsoever
  6. A draw for any unclaimed prizes will take place on 02/09/25 the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners (if any are required) will be notified in telephone (within 2 business days of the draw) and their names will be published on 09/09/25 at the same location of the original publication.

Further Terms and Conditions

  1. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Inaudible, incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries may be deemed invalid. Only those entries received by the Promoter will be included in the competition draw.
  2. Any entrant found to have used a third party (including online competition entry site) to enter on their behalf will have all entries invalidated and any claim they have to any prize will be invalidated. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any prize awarded. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information or who seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this competition.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any entries which do not comply with these Terms and Conditions and will not provide any reasons for rejection. Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions of entry will be deemed invalid and are not eligible to win a prize.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  5. Any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact details, including incorrect email contact details, will have all entries invalidated and any claim to any prize will be invalidated. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any prize awarded. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request.
  6. The Promoter highly recommends a current residential street address be provided when requested for ease of correspondence and potential prize delivery. The Promoter makes all reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to the addresses provided by competition entrants. The Promoter cannot guarantee that any prizes returned to the Promoter due to non-delivery at the provided address will be re-sent to the prize winner.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to sign a winner’s deed of release (and indemnification) or any other relevant forms or agreements that the Promoter deems necessary, to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bill) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions.
  9. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is subject to State and Territory legislation but also final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Prizes are subject to availability, not transferable or exchangeable and, with the exception of cash prizes, cannot be taken as cash. Prizes will be sent to the winner’s nominated address as stated in their original entry. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
  10. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter who may publish or cause to be published any of the entries received.
  11. In participating in the prizes, the winner/s agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners (and their companions) agree to granting the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
  12. Prize-winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
  13. The Promoter (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition. In particular, computer generated entries and the use “scripting” is not permitted and will not be accepted.
  14. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  15. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (‘Non-Excludable Guarantees‘).
  16. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize The Promoter (including its’ officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits or opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition including taking or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law), including the Non-Excludable guarantees. Any change in value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
  17. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://wattyl.com.au/privacy-policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter complies with the privacy principles set out in the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia and New Zealand.

COLOUR CONSULTATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. A Wattyl colour stylist booked through the Wattyl website (“Stylist”) is available to help you (“Customer”) create the colour palette for your home (“Colour Schedule”), this service is a “Consultation”.
  2. Wattyl Stylists are available to Australian residents only looking for residential solution/s. Offer is available to retail Customers only (not trade Customers).
  3. All Consultation/s are completed online only; the Customer may request a preference for a phone or video phone call for the Consultation. The Consultation will occur at a time that is suitable to both the Customer and Stylist.
  4. A Consultation is for the interior OR the exterior of your home. To have Colour Schedules prepared for both areas, will result in two (2) Consultations.
  5. Each Consultation includes:
    1. Customers will receive a phone or video call,
    2. Up to three bespoke Wattyl colour palettes specified in a Wattyl Colour Schedule for their interior OR exterior. These will be emailed directly to the Customer,
    3. Up to five Wattyl A5 colour cards sent to your home (Please visit your local Wattyl store or stockist to view Wattyl colour wall, fandeck and brochures for other colours specified),
    4. Upon completion of the above, a Discount Voucher will be provided for use at any Wattyl Paint Centre in Australia or via online ordering at wattyl.com.au

VOUCHER TERMS

The voucher is for 10% off all Wattyl Paints and Stains (all bases) up to a purchase total of $300.00 including GST. Discount is off-shelf price. Excludes trade accounts. Cannot be used in conjunction with the Paint Plus Welcome Voucher. No other discounts apply. The voucher is valid for 3 months following the Consultation. If the Customer needs delivery, standard delivery charges apply (note, Click and Collect is available). Discounts cannot be retrospectively applied to any previous orders placed.

  1. Whilst Wattyl has ensured each Stylist is fully qualified and endorsed by Wattyl, the advice given by the Stylist has no bearing on Wattyl for any disputes which may arise.
  2. Should any appointments between the customer and stylist need to be rescheduled, it is up to the customer and stylist to be responsible for actioning the new meeting time.
  3. One Consultation is $85 AUD (including GST). Payment is to be made directly to the Stylist. Payment is to be made before Wattyl Colour Schedule is emailed to the Customer. Credit card payments can be taken directly over the phone, or the Customer can pay on an invoice by Direct Deposit.
  4. Customers can purchase additional/extra colour cards from wattyl.com.au if they choose to do so.
  5. This offer is capped at three (3) Consultations per household per year.
  6. Please note that making paint colour recommendations via a digital medium will not be as accurate as recommendations made in the situation. Therefore, while every endeavour is taken, Wattyl will not be liable if the recommendations are not to the consumer’s satisfaction. For your own piece of mind, we further recommend that you obtain a physical test pot of your chosen colour to conduct physical colour testing.

Prize

  1. The three (3) Winners drawn will each receive the following prize:
    1. $350 in store credit to spend at the Winner’s nearest Wattyl Paint Centre in Australia on any Wattyl branded paint product/s (excluding Wattyl Industrial range and Granosite). At the time of winning, the Promoter will confirm the Winner’s nearest store (Nominated Store). A Wattyl representative will work with the winner and their nearest store to provide their prize up to the value of $350. This prize must be claimed in one transaction. $350 expires 31/10/26, any funds remaining after this date will be forfeited. Prize RRP $350 (including GST).
    2. In the event any of the Winner’s nearest store is a Mitre 10 store, that Winner can choose to have their nominated store as their local Mitre 10. The same conditions as per 13 (a) will apply.
    3. This $350 store credit can be used on transactions that have retail discounts applied, including but not limited to, Wattyl Paint Plus, any specific auto discounts, Mighty Rewards. Note, the store credit can not be used against any sale that has the paint charged at a Trade or Wholesale price.
  2. Total Prize Pool is $1050 (including GST).
  3. Prize is not transferrable, nor redeemable for cash.
  4. It is the Winner’s responsibility to select the products and colours they want to use within the Prize range. Depending on the space, the prize value may not be enough to paint the entire room. It is the Winner’s responsibility to go to the store and pick up the paint. Any costs associated with the receiving and/or usage of the prize is the responsibility of the Winner.
  5. Any products and/or colours selected are soley the responsibility of the Winner.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

  13. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  14. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (‘Non-Excludable Guarantees‘).
  15. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize The Promoter (including its’ officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits or opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition including taking or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law), including the Non-Excludable guarantees. Any change in value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
  16. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://wattyl.com.au/privacy-policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter complies with the privacy principles set out in the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia and New Zealand.
