Selling Houses Australia S14 Episode 6: A Contemporary Home Makeover in Lindfield

A busy young family were in for quite the challenge when they spontaneously purchased a home in one of Sydney’s most sought-after Northshore suburbs without viewing the property first.
In the beautiful leafy green suburb of Lindfield, the property was surrounded by overgrown foliage that was more of a jungle then a garden, blocking the natural sunlight from coming through which made the house feel dark and cold. Not only was the property rundown but it also had some safety concerns for a young family which needed to be corrected.
Demanding day jobs paired with young children left little time for this family to renovate and create the house of their dreams so they had made the tough decision to put the house up for sale.
With the help of Wendy, Dennis, and Andrew they were able to transform their dark and dingy house into a beautiful home. The interior paint work helped to optimise the natural light and enhance the living and bedroom spaces by using a bright neutral colour palette, which was complemented by a bold contemporary exterior makeover.
